AC: Valhalla has knocked COD: Black Ops Cold War off its high horse by outselling the FPS juggernaut. While further bringing COD’s 13 year old reign of being No. 1 in sales to an end, according to Gamesindustry.biz.

Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty are a couple of game franchises that have survived for long time in the industry. Nevertheless both show no signs of stopping as both franchises have shown record sales. However, AC: Valhalla has taken the lead in boxed sales. Factors That should be taken into account

There are many factors at play here as AC: Valhalla released a week ago on November 10th. While COD: Black Ops Cold War has been out since 13th November. Furthermore, retail has had to adapt to COVID restrictions, combined with a second lockdown in the UK. Making it understandable that physical sales will be affected.
