Developers of Remothered Announces New Interesting Story-Driven RPG

The Award-winning developers of the Remothered survival horror series, Stormind Games are bringing us Batora: Last Haven. The game will be releasing on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, & both PS4 and PS5. The game will be a stark departure from the survival horror genre that Stormind Games are known for, Instead switching to a story-driven sci-fi RPG with Batora: Last Haven.

Batora: Last Haven was announced in a short two-minute trailer featuring sword-wielding protagonist Avril. Who battles her way through menacing enemies using her sword and powers. The trailer then switches from a CGI cutscene to show top-down hack & slash gameplay. Although we got a trailer, no release date has been confirmed yet.

Additionally, Batora: Last Haven includes heavy story-driven RPG elements. Stormind Games explain on the official website:

“Batora: Lost Haven combines the features of a hack & slash and a twin-stick shooter in a nonlinear interplanetary story-driven action RPG”.

Batora: Lost Haven looks stunning as visuals really pop in the trailer with vibrant tones that are appealing to the eyes. Stormind Games describe the visuals as a 1950s retro sci-fi style. Additionally, screenshots released by Stormind Games resemble that of the Borderlands series cel-shaded visuals.

Batora: Last Haven Gameplay Features

The game seems to be incredibly ambitious, taking from many genres that hopefully it can be fully realized. Stormind Games further released information regarding the game’s plot, screenshots, and characters as well as some of the games features:
