Bayonetta
The titular protagonist herself. The witch whose hair gave rise to an entire generation of young boys and their love of long hair. The Umbra Witch herself is seen dripped out in fashionable attire regularly, but her costumes are even more appealing when you feel like you worked for them.
She has seven Bayonetta 3 Costumes, some of which are callbacks to previous games in the franchise. Other outfits are attractive because they allow for different variants of your base costume.

Viola
An interesting character is introduced in this very game. Viola is a multiverse-traveling vigilante on a quest to defeat a threat named Singularity. To complete this task, she must first find all of the Chaos Gears and enlist Bayonetta’s help.
Significant plot twists are revealed by the end of the game, but we will refrain from doing that here and leave that to the story segment. Viola’s Bayonetta 3 Costumes are simple, mainly changing her shirt’s design. Simple yet effective.

Jeanne
Every main character needs their friend/rival character. For Bayonetta, this trope comes in the form of Jeanne. Jeanne, as a character, is the typical haughty best friend and enemy to our main protagonist but is also implied to be something beyond friends at specific points in time.
The developers even confirmed that, at one point, they had the vision to explicitly bring this relationship to fruition. However, it was later decided that it should remain implicit and act as a treat for those who can read between the lines and gather subtext. Jeanne only has one outfit, her base outfit for the game.
