  • Some new actors are popularly known for their past roles in the acting and vocal performance industry and are not recognized enough for their hard work.
  • Genesis is one of the primary villains in-game, and Shaun Conde and the returning Gakuto Oshiro cover his vocals.
  • A few characters have pre-recorded voiceovers for the Japanese version of the game.

Zack Fair

He is the primary protagonist in Crisis Core Reunion. Zack is a part of the Soldier Company. Under the wing of Angeal, he has made his ranking to first class and eventually possessed the buster sword, eventually. In no time, he becomes one of the most trustable high-ranking fellows alongside Sephiroth in the division.

Although Fair has faced many hardships during his time in the program, the love of his life, Aerith Gainsborough, keeps him going and moving forward. At a very early age, he left his family and joined a military group to start his journey toward the Soldier Company, as he had dreamed of becoming part of it since he was a child.

Zack is shown to be very bright and energetic, a people person, and is also known to make friends very easily with almost anyone. Most importantly, with his difficult situations, Fair never lets down his high hopes and spirits.

The replacement for Rick Gomez is Caleb Pierce. He is a fantastic American actor who has brought Zack Fair to life in a way that portrays him as younger and more lively. Final Fantasy VII Remake and The First Soldier also hired Pierce to do vocals for the main protagonist. It makes sense why the production team of Crisis Core Reunion chose a younger actor to voice Zack in-game.

As the Wutai Wars commence, Sephiroth is the key to victory for expanding Shinra’s propaganda, which is unknown to him. He gets promoted to the elite soldier rank of first class quickly, making him the most adamant superhero.

Sephiroth is showcased to be extremely calm and contained, lacking his sense of humor. He is also prone to be agitated and losing attention quickly.

But ever since she experienced heavy losses in her childhood and as a teenager, she became quiet and reserved due to the severe trauma.

Lockhart has excellent observation skills and a motherly-figure vibe to her. She is also timid and will always put others before herself. Tifa can also tell what the other person feels and will protect those in need without hesitation.

These characters were not directly part of the main storyline but significantly contributed to the game’s progression.

Nero The Sable

He is the complete reverse of his older brother, Weiss, just like his corrupted abilities. Nero is isolated, reserved, and not capable of showing emotions. Weiss is the only one who has witnessed his positive affection since he’s the only one who has treated him well and like family.

Nero is often seen in Weiss’ company and has a very hostile relationship with almost everyone. He acts as his brother’s second-in-command and takes command of the Tsviets when Weiss is out of action.

Weiss The Immaculate

Unfortunately, all thanks to Professor Hojo’s control, Weiss develops full disgust and despises any human scientist like his army of high-ranking warriors in Tsviet.

His personality is a mixture of psychotic sadist who represents himself in a very content and optimistic way and doesn’t care at all for his subordinates, even if it means putting their lives in full danger. He only cares if his accomplishments are being fulfilled. Weiss has only reciprocally shown real empathy to his younger brother, Nero.
