Dead Island 2 Key Locations [Full List]

Roaming out the city’s streets and bashing zombies’ brains does not cover the entire playthrough. Dead Island 2 gets ten times more exciting when players are tasked with opening lockboxes or safes. The challenge begins when players have to look out for a specific key in order to unlock a lockbox or safe deposit box. Can’t find a key to one of these locked containers? LockBoxes And Their Keys

Brentwood Waste Bin

• Key Name: Brentwood Waste Key
• Region: Beverly Hills
• Key Location: Go to Water Reclamation Project in Beverly Hills. It is located far west on your map and is easy to locate. A Screamer zombie labeled Brentwood Staff is roaming around the entrance of the building. He is carrying the Key, so take him down.
• Lockbox Location: Go down to the underground area in Brentwood Water Reclamation Project. Here, find a Brentwood Waste Bin in the Operations room of Flow Control Tunnels.
• Reward: Puncturator Heavy Wrench

Burger ’66 Staff Locker

• Key Name: Burger ’66 Locker Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: The key is on a Slobber called “Burger ’66 Server.” He is a bit far from Burger ’66. Make your way from Burger ’66 to the Los Angeles Police Department, located on the west side of the shop. There is a pyramid-shaped fountain nearby, and the infected guy is walking nearby.
• Lockbox Location: Head to Burger ’66 Restaurant eastern side of the map. Go to the Toilets area, and you will locate the Locker there.
• Reward: Gastric Bypass

BWRP Staff Drawers

• Key Name: BWRP Technician’s Key
• Region: Brentwood Sewers
• Key Location: The key is on a Slobber named “Felipe The Sewer Tech,” roaming outside the Automated Hydrostatics Monitoring room, more specifically on the eastern side of it. Take him down and collect the key.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is inside the Automated Hydrostatics Monitoring room of Brentwood Sewers.
• Reward: Liquidator Claws

BWRP Maintenance Toolbox

• Key Name: Maintenance Toolbox Key
• Region: Brentwood Sewers
• Key Location: In the Main Septic Tank sewers below the staircase area. An infected with the name “Maintenance Worker” is roaming there. Take him down and pick up the Maintenance Toolbox Key.
• Lockbox Location: Go upstairs in the Main Septic Tank. Lastly, head toward the South of the map and find a small office. The Maintenance Toolbox is inside that room.
• Reward: Leeching Zombie Axe

Curtis’ Valuables Safe

• Key Name: Curtis’ Safe Key
• Region: Bel-Air
• Key Location: Make sure you’ve completed the side quest “Death of the Outsider” and followed the main story afterward. This will give the player full access to Curtis’ house. Once done, go to the Curtis’ House backyard and head East. There is another house that contains a Screamer, “Crystal The Lawyer.” Take it out and collect the key.
• Lockbox Location: Enter Curtis’ House from the front door and find a small closet room on the western part of the house. The Lockbox is on a wall inside that room.
• Reward: Tactical Heavy Revolver

Cable Van Trunk

• Key Name: Cable Guy’s Van Key
• Region: Bel-Air
• Key Location: There is a huge Goat Pen mansion south of the Bel-Air map. The Cable Guy’s Van Key is carried by “The Cable Guy” walking on “Alpine Dr” street right outside that mansion.
• Lockbox Location: There is a black van right outside the Goat Pen mansion’s front gate, on the same street as the Cable Guy. Its trunk contains a weapon you can access with the right key.
• Reward: Electrocutor Tire Iron

Construction Team’s Safe

• Key Name: Foreman’s Key
• Region: Beverly Hills
• Key Location: A Mutator zombie named “The Site Foreman” is walking around in a construction site area. It is in a mansion located far South of Beverly Hills.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is inside the same mansion’s building. Simply head upstairs and find a small room that is holding the Construction Teams’ Safe along with a suitcase.
• Reward: Superior Melee Impactor Mod

Coach’s Car Trunk

• Key Name: Coach’s Car Trunk Key
• Region: Bel-Air
• Key Location: There is a Tennis Court on Access Rd 781 in Bel-Air. You’ll find a zombie named Coach Ace here, take it out and earn the Coach’s Car Trunk Key.
• Lockbox Location: Head out from the Tennis Court and make your way to Access Rd 782. Here you will find a black car that requires a key to unlock its trunk.
• Reward: Agile Golf Club

Custodian’s Locker

• Key Name: Custodian’s Locker Key
• Region: Hollywood Boulevard
• Key Location: The Custodian’s Locker Key is locked inside a door. The door can open only after completing the main quest, “Missing: Rainer.” Complete that quest and gain access to the locked door where Rainer was trapped. Once inside, you’ll find the Custodian’s Locker Key on the shelf.
• Lockbox Location: After collecting the key, head out towards the left and find a Maintenance Area. Here, you’ll find a huge locker that fits the Custodian’s Key.
• Reward: Puncturator Nailgun

Delgado’s Supply Case

• Key Name: Delgado’s Supply Case Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: Go Northwest of Venice Beach and go to Venice Beach Lifeguard Tower. The place has shipping containers around the area. Find shipping container no. 66 and look for a zombie, “Pvt. Delgado,” he’ll be carrying the Supply Case Keys. (Make sure to complete the Redacted side quest in order for this zombie to spawn.)
• Lockbox Location: Delgado’s Supply Case is inside the Venice Beach Lifeguard Tower on the second floor.
• Reward: Mutilator Pistol

Eschaton Staff Safe

• Key Name: Eschaton Safe Key
• Region: Hollywood Boulevard
• Key Location: Make sure all your Main Quests are completed; you won’t be able to unlock this Safe otherwise. Enter the Metro Station on Hollywood Boulevard and head west. Take another set of stairs down. You’ll reach the Ticket Booth area. Go further deep, and there will be a zombie named “Eschaton Doctor.” Take him down and collect the Eschaton Safe Key he drops.
• Lockbox Location: Travel Northeast of the Metro Station. There is a Safe icon on the map; mark it and follow the route all the way inside.
• Reward: Superior Ranged Electrocutor Mod

Eddie’s Toolbox

• Key Name: Landscraper’s Key
• Region: Bel-Air
• Key Location: A Butcher zombie is carrying the Landscraper’s Key outside an orange mansion at the Northwestern part of the map. The zombie is labeled as Green Thumb Eddie. However, this zombie will only unlock once you finish the 20th Main Quest of the storyline and unlock Butcher zombie types.
• Lockbox Location: Eddie’s Toolbox is near Emma’s mansion, above the tennis court area. It is sitting on top of a Truck.
• Reward: Vampiric Machine Pistol

Electrician’s Toolbox

• Key Name: Electrician’s Keys
• Region: Ocean Avenue
• Key Location: The Electrician’s Toolbox key is on a Shocking Walker named Faulty Electrician. You can locate him by heading to Northwestern Ocean Avenue and finding a large pit hole. The walker will be walking inside of it. Kill him and pick up the key.
• Lockbox Location: There is a building, Thalia Residence, a bit Northeast of the pit hole. Enter that building and head up to the second floor by the stairs. Enter room no. 2C and go to the apartment’s closet. You can find an Electrician’s toolbox resting on the floor.

Family Garage Safe

• Key Name: Garage Safe Key
• Region: Beverly Hills
• Key Location: A Runner zombie named Nosy Neighbor is carrying the Garage Safe Key. You can locate it by going east of the map, on the road behind Farouk’s house.
• Lockbox Location: A black-roof mansion is in the Northern region of the map, Northwest of Michael’s house. Enter the mansion’s garage; you will locate a Family Garage Safe on the counter.
• Reward: Bloodthirsty Bowie Knife

Famiglia Storage Box

• Key Name: Luigi’s Famiglia Key
• Region: Santa Monica
• Key Location: A Runner Zombie Luigi Jr. has the keys to Famiglia Storage Box. He is inside the tunnel right next to Pier Grill.
• Lockbox Location: Travel far Northeast of Santa Monica and enter a restaurant called Luigi’s Pizzeria. Head to the place’s bathroom, and you will find yourself Famiglia Storage Box on the floor.
• Reward: Puncturator Bo Staff

Fancy Leather Trunk

• Key Name: Fancy Leather Trunk Key
• Region: Halperin Hotel
• Key Location: First, make sure you complete the main quest, The Search For Truth, in order to unlock the key and the trunk. Now reach up to the third floor of the hotel and look for a zombie “Mutated Guest” in the hallway. It will be holding the keys to the trunk.
• Lockbox Location: The Fancy Leather Truck is located on the same floor as the key. It will be lying on the floor in a corner.
• Reward: Tenacious

Gang Green Store Safe

• Key Name: Gang Green Safe Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: A Walker named Roacher is carrying Gang Green Store Keys. Track him down by heading middle of the map, in front of the Bookstore. He will be roaming somewhere there. Kill the zombie and pick up the key.
• Lockbox Location: The Gang Green Store Safe is inside a green-coloured store North of the map. You must complete the “Missing: Pablo” Lost and Found quest in order to gain access to this store. Once you are inside, go behind the counter, and the safe will be on the wall.
• Reward: Leeching Club

Guest’s Keepsake Box

• Key Name: Guest’s Keepsake Key
• Region: Ocean Venue
• Key Location: There is a Runner zombie called “Serling Hotel Guest” who’s carrying the Guest’s Keepsake Box keys. You can find him in an alley in the center of the map. More specifically, the alley is between Venture Walk and Stoker Pl streets. Once you find Serling Hotel Guest, defeat him and get the keys to Guest’s Keepsake.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is inside the Serling Hotel safe zone. Find Guest Suite 01, and the Lockbox will be on a table right next to the door.
• Reward: Energizing

Halperin Security Safe

• Key Name: Security Guard’s Safe Key
• Region: Halperin Hotel
• Key Location: A Walker zombie named Hotel Security is carrying the keys to Halperin Security Safe. He is in a basement parking area on the right side of the hotel. The area is infested with various types of zombies, so be prepared before entering the place.
• Lockbox Location: There is a Security Booth outside the Halperin Hotel building; you can enter the Security Booth only after destroying the Maglock, which secures the place. Once inside, open the Halperin Security Safe by using the Security Guard’s Safe Key.
• Reward: Violent Machete

Juice Bar Safe

• Key Name: Juice Bar Safe Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: The Juice Bar Safe key is inside the “Muscle Beach Juice Bar” store; more specifically, it is sitting in the Dressing Room of that store.
• Lockbox Location: Juice Bar Safe is inside the “Muscle Beach Juice Bar” store in Venice Beach. Look under the counter of that store, and you’ll find the safe there.
• Reward: Random amount of cash is found inside Juice Bar Safe.

Kelli Jo’s Suitcase

• Key Name: Kelli Jo’s Suitcase Key
• Region: Monarch Studios
• Key Location: The key is on a Screamer zombie named Kelli Jo. She is roaming south of Stage 3, near Shutterbug Av. Once you take her out, you can pick up the key, “Kelli Jo’s Suitcase Key.”
• Lockbox Location: You can find a blue-coloured Kelli Jo’s Suitcase in a Trailer parked in the street between Stage 5 and Stage 6. The street is labeled as the Best Supporting Path.

Lifeguard Kit Box

• Key Name: Lifeguard Kit Box Key
• Region: Santa Monica
• Key Location: A Crusher zombie type named Beach Hunk has the keys to Lifeguard Kit Box. Head to the Southwestern region of Santa Monica, a bit ahead of Lifeguard HQ. You’ll find Beach Hunk on the way. Kill him and pick up the important keys.
• Lockbox Location: There is a small building, “Lifeguard HQ,” which is also a safe zone of the area. You can find Lifeguard Kit Box there.
• Reward: Superior Melee Cremator Mod

Laundry Room Locker

• Key Name: Laundry Room Locker Key
• Region: Halperin Hotel
• Key Location: In order to obtain the Laundry Room Locker Key, head out of Halperin Hotel from the west and make your way to the Wedding Venue in a garden. Here you will find a Screamer named Karaoke Bridesmaid. Kill her to retrieve the Laundry Room Locker Key.
• Lockbox Location: Go to Halperin Hotel’s second floor and locate a Laundry Room. A neon sign is just outside the door, hanging on a wall. So look out for that. Once inside the room, open the Laundry Room Locker and receive the reward.
• Reward: Electrocutor Pole Saw

Lt. Land’s Case

• Key Name: Lt. Lands Case Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: Go to the Military Zone shore on the west. Climb up on Marine Boat on the right. There will be a Walker zombie named Lt. Land on that boat. Take him out to obtain the Lt. Land’s Case keys.
• Lockbox Location: There are three Military Tents marked with red on the Venice Beach map, a bit Northwest of the Los Angeles Police Department. Go to the military tent on the left and find Lt. Land’s Case there.
• Reward: Destructive Heavy Revolver

Michael’s Safe

• Key Name: Michael’s Safe Key
• Region: Beverly Hills
• Key Location: The zombie carrying Michael’s Safe keys spawns only after you’ve completed the 7th main quest, “O Micheal Where Art Thou.” Once you have completed the quest, go to Michael’s house, located Northeast of Beverly Hills. The house contains a round swimming pool, so you can easily find it on the map. A walker named Michael’s Protege is roaming around the driveway/swimming pool area. Kill him to retrieve Michael’s Safe key.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is inside Michael’s House. It is sitting on a table under a television in the Living Room.
• Reward: Defiant Hunting Knife

Military Courier’s Case

• Key Name: Military Courier’s Key
• Region: Halperin Hotel
• Key Location: A Walker zombie named Military Courier is carrying the Military Courier’s Case keys. It’ll be walking around in the Hotel’s lobby. Kill the zombie in order to obtain the keys.
• Lockbox Location: Just like the keys, Halperin Hotel’s lobby also contains the Military Courier’s Case. After entering the lobby, turn left and enter the seating area. The Case is in the corner.
• Reward: Relentless Military Axe

Mystery Goodie-Box

• Key Name: Mystery Goodie Box Code
• Region: Ocean Avenue
• Key Location: You can obtain the Mystery Goodie-Box Code only after performing all three tasks you receive from Hana. The code will help unlock the Mystery Goodie Box.
• Lockbox Location: You can find Mystery Goodie-Box on Serling Hotel’s third floor, the safe zone area. It’ll be next to the computer and some crates.
• Reward: Charged Electrocutor Shark Tooth

Metro Ticket Office Safe

• Key Name: Ticket Office Safe Key
• Region: Hollywood Boulevard
• Key Location: Travel to the Northeastern part of the Metro station and look out for a zombie named “Metro Ticket Taker.” Take him out and collect the dropped Ticket Office Safe Key.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is located a bit Southwest of the Metro station. It is right next to the “Deth Rawk Bar & Grill” shown on the map. The Lockbox will be on a wall behind a trashcan.
• Reward: Cremator Claymore

Military Supplies Case

• Key Name: Military Supplies Key
• Region: Halperin Hotel
• Key Location: There is an exit that goes to Bel-Air far Northeast of the map. Go there, and you will run across a Crusher zombie whose name is Drill Sergeant; he will be walking in Lacuna Av Street.
• Lockbox Location: There are two routes on the far Northeast, one goes to Bel-Air, and the other doesn’t. Go to the other route and find a Military Truck parked somewhere. The Lockbox is on the back of that truck.
• Reward: Guarding Military Knife

Nikki’s Bounty Reward

• Key Name: Nikki’s Prize Key
• Region: Beverly Hills
• Key Location: A Butcher zombie called Target Practice is carrying Nikki’s Prize key. To track that zombie, head to Nikki Gutte’s Home Northwest of the map. From here, travel North and explore the grounds; you’ll find the zombie there. Kill it and claim the key; it will drop.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is in Nikki Gutte’s Home, which is located Northwest of Beverly Hills. You’ll find the Lockbox inside the closet of the bedroom, right next to a shoe rack.

Newsroom Hard-Case

• Key Name: Newsroom Hard-Case Key
• Region: Ocean Avenue
• Key Location: Make sure you have completed the side quest called “Scooped” in order to gain access to the key’s location. The Newsroom Hard-Case Key is inside the building “LA 24 News Office” located near Stoker Pl Street. Find a Firestorm Slobber named Talk Show Guest on the first floor of the building; he’ll be nearby other burning zombies.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is located in the same location as the key. Head upstairs to the second floor of the LA 24 News Office and look for a black-coloured lockbox on the floor.
• Reward: Tactical Assault Shotgun

Officer Wilson’s Luggage

• Key Name: Mall Cop’s Luggage Key
• Region: Ocean Avenue
• Key Location: There is a place called Scope on the map. You will find a Crusher Hot Spot a bit Northeast from there. Go there and find a zombie named Officer Wilson. Kill him and claim the Mall Cop’s Luggage Key.
• Lockbox Location: Go to Serling Hotel and enter Guest Suite 02. It’ll be on the first floor in the safe zone. The Lockbox is on the floor, ready to be claimed.
• Reward: A good amount of Cash is rewarded from Officer Wilson’s Luggage.

Officer’s Secure Lockbox

• Key Name: Officer’s Lockbox Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: First, complete a side quest, “Cold Pork,” to spawn a Zombie with Officer’s Lockbox Key. Once done, head west of the Los Angeles Police Department toward the Lifeguard Tower. You’ll find a Walker zombie named Officer Mckenzie. Kill him to obtain Officer’s Lockbox Key.
• Lockbox Location: The Officer’s Secure Lockbox is inside the Los Angeles Police Department, located South of Venice Beach.
• Reward: Puncturator Nightstick

Party Contraband Case

• Key Name: Bouncer’s Key
• Region: Beverly Hills
• Key Location: Inside a mansion located in the Southeastern part of Beverly Hills. There is a Mutator Hot Spot in the area. Look for a Crusher zombie named “Party Bouncer.” Take him down to obtain a Bouncer Key.
• Lockbox Location: Inside the same mansion as the keys. Go upstairs and find Rikki’s room. Get into a closet and find a Lockbox on your right.
• Reward: Powerful Whispering Blade

Poolside Bio Container

• Key Name: Poolside Container Key
• Region: Halperin Hotel
• Key Location: First, complete the main quest, “Michael Anders And Holy Grails.” Now you can find the zombie carrying Poolside Container Key. Head East of the Halperin Hotel map, where different roads are connecting. You’ll find a Slobber hot spot area here. Find a zombie named Sunbather and take him out. Pick up Poolside Container Key from the loot he dropped.
• Lockbox Location: Head to the Pool area West of the Halperin Hotel. You will find the Poolside Bio Container under a neon sign that reads, “Things will be fine.”
• Reward: Puncturator Composite Sledgehammer

Patient’s Lockbox

• Key Name: Patient Lockbox Key
• Region: The Metro
• Key Location: Find a zombie named Derailed Patient. You can locate it by heading Northwestern part of The Metro. The zombie will be inside a flooded space.
• Lockbox Location: You can find the Patient’s Lockbox on a table in a flooded space Northwest of The Metro. Unlock it once you’ve obtained the key from Derailed Patient.
• Reward: Electrocutor Hunting Rifle

Quarantined Belongings

• Key Name: Putrid Subway Car Keys
• Region: The Metro
• Key Location: Head to the far western part of The Metro. Here you can locate a Slobber zombie named Putrid Commuter roaming on the metro line. You must kill this infected person in order to get yourself the Putrid Subway Car Key.
• Lockbox Location: On the same metro line as Putrid Commuter Zombie. Find a strayed Subway Train Car and enter. Go straight ahead till you run across a Red Container with Quarantined Belongings.
• Reward: Puncturator Brass Knuckles

Randgate Secure Case

• Key Name: Randgate Security Key
• Region: Ocean Avenue
• Key Location: First of all, complete a side quest, “Missing: Greg,” in order for the key to spawn. Now head inside a garage next to Silicon St and go down the underground parking through the elevator. Now climb up the second floor of that underground parking area, and you’ll find Randgate Staff Screamer zombie nearby. Take him down to retrieve the Randgate Security Key.
• Lockbox Location: There is a Randgate Security building on the Eastern part of Ocean Avenue. Enter the building, and you’ll find a Security Office on your right. The Randgate Secure Case is under the table in that office.
• Reward: Vengeful Weapon Perk

Rose’s Storage Box

• Key Name: Rose’s Storage Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: Make your way toward the Exit Zone at the Eastern part of Venice Beach. You will find a Screamer zombie named Rose a bit ahead of Burger ’66. Kill her in order to obtain Rose’s Storage Box Key.
• Lockbox Location: Go to a shop called “Roses Tattoo,” located a bit Northeast of the Los Angeles Police Department. You can spot it by looking for a big orange bus standing right outside. Once inside, you can find Rose’s Storage Box behind the counter.
• Reward: Black Magic Bat

Secure Bio Container

• Key Name: Biohazard Container Key
• Region: Beverly Hills
• Key Location: A Runner zombie named SSG Hernandez is on a street west of the house near military trucks. Kill SSG. Hernandez to acquire Biohazard Container Key.
• Lockbox Location: You can spot a huge white mansion right in the center of Beverly Hills. The Secure Bio Container is in that building. Once you enter, find it sitting next to two big trash cans on the first floor of that building.
• Reward: Acid Rain Weapon Perk

Security Guard’s Cooler

• Key Name: Security’s Cooler Key
• Region: Monarch Studios
• Key Location: There is a security booth right outside the entrance on the western part of Monarch Studios. Once you enter the security booth, you will find a blue-colored Security Guard’s Cooler on the floor in front.
• Lockbox Location: You need to look for a Walker named Monarch Security. He is inside a trailer parked on Action Alley, south of Stage 7. You need to kill him in order for him to get the Security’s Cooler Key.
• Reward: Damaging Police Baton

Skate Things Store Safe

• Key Name: Skate Things Safe Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: A Runner zombie named Ollie is carrying the keys to Skate Things Store Safe. You can find him a bit Southwest from Skate Things Store, in an open play area. Kill him and retrieve the Skate Things Safe Key.
• Lockbox Location: Skate Things Store Safe is inside the store itself. Head north toward Skate Things Store and enter the place. You can find the safe attached to the wall behind the store’s counter.
• Reward: Impactor Pipe Wrench

Starla’s Award Show Safe

• Key Name: Starla’s Safe Key
• Region: Hollywood Boulevard
• Key Location: You need to find a Crusher zombie named Starla Taylor-Moore. She will be roaming outside.
• Lockbox Location: The Starla’s Award Show Safe is under the bleachers. You can locate them by going to the place marked “Hollywood Boulevard” on the map. Right in front of the Theatres are bleachers. Go east in those bleachers, and you’ll find Starla’s Award Show Safe.
• Reward: Smashing Composite Sledgehammer

Suspicious Container

• Key Name: CDC Disposal Key
• Region: Santa Monica
• Key Location: You can find the CDC Disposal Key on a Walker named CDC Viscera Cleaner. To locate him, head South of the Pier and go to shore right in front of a Lifeguard Tower. Take the zombie out and pick up the keys from dropped loot.
• Lockbox Location: Far south of the Pier. You can find a red-colored Suspicious Container behind some cargo containers near the workbench.
• Reward: Liquidator Auto Carbine

Space Fox 2250 Prop

• Key Name: Space Fox 2250 Prop Key
• Region: Monarch Studios
• Key Location: You must find a Runner zombie named Space Fox Prop Master. He is roaming around near the back gate of Monarch Studios, right behind Stage 7. Collect the Space Fox 2250 Prop Key he drops after you kill him.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is next to Stage 1, near the Slobber Hot Spot. It is a huge orange/red color container. After obtaining the key, you can unlock it.
• Reward: Electrocutor Pistol

Serling Reception Safe

• Key Name: Serling Reception Key
• Region: Ocean Avenue
• Key Location: The key is on a Walker zombie named Serling Concierge walking around in Serling Hotel. Go to the hotel’s second floor and look for a horde of zombies at the end of that floor, in front of huge windows. Serling Concierge is in that area along with other zombies. Defeat him in order to obtain the desired keys.

Secure File Storage

• Key Name: Server Room Safe Key
• Region: Ocean Avenue
• Key Location: The Server Room Safe Key is on the second floor of the LA 24 News Building. Find a dead body in one of the rooms; the key will be right next to it. Make sure you’ve completed the side quest “Scooped” in order for Secure File Storage to unlock.
• Lockbox Location: Once you obtain the key, head toward the basement and into the Server Room. Here, you’ll find Secure File Storage on a shelf.
• Reward: You get cash as a reward upon opening the lockbox.

The Safe Of Broseidon

• Key Name: Brock’s Safe Key
• Region: Bel-Air
• Key Location: Head to Goat Pen house’s pool area. There is a gym right next to that pool. Find a Crusher zombie named Goat Pen Brock. He is carrying the keys to The Safe Of Broseidon.
• Lockbox Location: Go to Goat Pen house located far south on the Bel-Air map. You can find the lockbox Northwest of the house, inside a bedroom. The lock box is on the wall above the bed.

Theatre Box Office Safe

• Key Name: Box Office Safe Key
• Region: Hollywood Boulevard
• Key Location: In order to obtain the keys to Theatre Box Office Safe, head to the bathrooms area behind the bleachers. Find a Walker named Nick The Usher and kill him. He will drop the Box Office Safe Keys.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is inside a drinks counter located between Deth Rawk Bar & Grill and Old Dynasty Theatre. Go inside and find the Theatre Box Office Safe on the lower wall.
• Reward: Superior Ranged Puncturator Mod

Tasty Donut Store Safe

• Key Name: Tasty Donut Safe Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: Look out for a Slobber zombie named Tasty Donut Boss. He is in the public parking lot North of the Tasty Donut Store and South of Brain Freeze. Kill him to obtain the keys to Tasty Donut Store Safe.
• Lockbox Location: The Tasty Donut Store Safe is inside the store itself. Tasty Donut Store is located in the center of Venice Beach.
• Reward: Liquidator Shotgun

Venice Lifeguard’s Safe

• Key Name: Lifeguard Hut Safe Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: Head to the far Southern part of Venice Beach and look for a Runner zombie named Brody The Lifeguard. He will be walking near the seashore. Take him down to claim Lifeguard Hut Safe Key.
• Lockbox Location: The Lockbox is inside one of the Lifeguard Towers of Venice Beach. Head to the Lifeguard Tower all the way South, and the lockbox will be sitting under the table on your left.
• Reward: Tenacious Tactical Sword

West Coast Weight Cooler

• Key Name: Strong Man Cooler Key
• Region: Venice Beach
• Key Location: Find a Walker zombie named Jake Jones, as he will be carrying the Strong Man Cooler Keys you’re looking for. He is roaming nearby Skate Things Store North of the map. Once you kill him, he will drop the keys. Pick them up and head for the Lockbox.
• Lockbox Location: There is a weightlifting symbol on the map north of Venice Beach. Head there and enter a cargo container standing there. A blue-colored West Coast Weight Cooler is inside that cargo container, on a table.
• Reward: Impactor Mace

Safe Deposits And Their Keys

Once you’ve completed the 4th main story quest, “Call the Cavalry,” and made your way to Halperin Hotel, you get a quest called Room Service for Major Booker. You need to explore the Halperin Hotel during the quest. While exploring, you’ll find Safe Deposit boxes behind the Reception counter. Five of these Safe Deposits are available to open. Find their keys lying around in Halperin Hotel, and collect the reward.

Following are all five Safe Deposit key locations in Dead Island 2:

Safe Deposit Key #9

The key is on a long table on your left when you enter Halperin Hotel’s lobby. It is the easiest to run across.

Safe Deposit Key #14

You can find the second key on Halperin Hotel’s second floor. So, head upstairs and go into the hallway till you find Room 208. The key is on the bed’s left side, on the floor.

Safe Deposit Key #33

Head upstairs on the Halperin Hotel’s second floor. You’ll find a closed elevator door. Open it and pick up Safe Deposit Key #33 from the elevator floor.

Safe Deposit Key #49

Go toward the end of the 2nd floor’s hallway till you find two elevators in front. Climb up the elevator on your right and enter the third floor of the building. Turn left and continue following the path till you enter a room with a ceiling vent. Safe Deposit Key #49 is inside that vent.

Safe Deposit Key #53

Head to Room No. 307 of the Halperin Hotel. You’ll find the fifth and final key inside that room’s bathroom.
