The studio aims to create “focused, high-quality titles that put the player experience first.”, according to the studio’s home page. They go on to say they are developing original IPs that have “beautiful worlds that challenge the mind and inspire the imagination.”

This comes after Laidlaw’s fairly recent departure from Ubisoft, where he joined in 2018 shortly after the completion of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (Get it here or through Amazon), and left this past February. At the time, he posted on Twitter that he had to “take stock and figure out what’s next!”.

Frederic St-Laurent B. worked for Ubisoft Quebec and was the Lead Game Designer on Assassin’s Creed Syndicate(Get it here or through Amazon)and worked on Dora The Explorer: World Adventure!. Jeff Skalski is a level designer and artist with game credits such as Warhammer Online, Mass Effect ( Pre-order the Legendary Edition here or play the Trilogy now) and Civilization II: Test Of Time. Thomas Giroux was the creative director on Ubisoft’s The Crew (Get it here or through Amazon), and Livelock.

Giroux is the CEO of the company, with Skalski being the COO. On the creative front, Laidlaw is the Chief Creative Officer and St-Laurent a game director. The company website lists that there are 13 employees currently, with the studio looking for more to work on the studios projects.

No specific titles from the studio has been announced yet, but we will be sure to keep you updated here at VeryAli Gaming.
