Growing up, we’ve all watched Ash’s adventures in Pokémon countless times. Furthermore, we absolutely loved playing all the games released in the Pokémon Saga. Nintendo has blessed us with “Pokémon: Scarlet and violet” which is another addition to Pokémon games.
Now we don’t need to waste time discussing what you do in a Pokémon game. As most of us already know about it. But Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet is an open world which makes catching pokémon an even better experience.
Since we’re talking about catching pokémon this article is going to tell you about something that is going to aid you in it. Scroll down to read about the False Swipe in Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet.
False swipe can be used to catch Pokémon that are rather difficult to get.
Professor Jacq(Important) will be in the Biology room in the academy.
Once acquired, False Swipe can be crafted as many times as you’d like.
What Is False Swipe And Why Is It Important
The most important aspect of a Pokémon game is to catch ’em all. False swipe is the move that lets you do that with ease and without letting the Pokémon faint. It gives you the ability to take down a Pokémon to the lowest possible HP i.e.1. This makes catching them fairly easy and very quick.
The game itself defines it as a craftable item “that prevents the Target from fainting, the target is left with 1 HP”. It has power: 40, Accuracy: 100, and PP: 40.
This is quite useful and pretty important for Shiny Hunters out there! Because it’ll give them the ability to catch Pokémon very easily. Even the ones that are quite difficult to catch. In short, it brings the odds to their side.
How To Unlock False Swipe TM
It’s not that hard of a task to be able to get this TM in the game. We just need to meet a Professor in another city, who is going to unlock it for you. Then we will be able to craft it later at the TM machine. Here are the steps you need to follow to get the False Swipe TM:
Open the map.
Get to Mesagoza city.
Select Naranja Academy.
Click “fly there” to arrive there.
Once you’re in the hall, go to the desk that asks “where do you want to go”.
Select “Biology Lab”.
You’ll need to make your way to the biology lab to find Professor Jacq. Jacq is also the person that developed the Pokédex.
He will ask you for at least 30 Pokémon to get a reward. So you will need to collect 30 Pokémon, which is something that most players do within a few hours of playing the game. Once you give him that, he’ll give you the TM057s which is False Swipe!
How To Be Able To Craft TM057s
Once you have obtained TM057s, you can craft the False Swipe as many times as you want. You just need to go to the TM machine where you’ll have the capability of crafting it by selecting “I want a TM made”.
But there are a few requirements for you to obtain before you can craft it. Here is a list of those requirements:
400 League points (LP)
3 Kricketot Shells
3 Chewtle Claws.
Collecting all these items in the game is fairly easy and won’t take that much time. It’s also worth it, as it can do so much for catching Pokémon.
