Recently, details on Amazon’s Lord of the Rings MMO have been released. Amazon revealed the MMO was in development all the way back in 2018. A release in documents by LE YOU Tech has highlighted a timeframe in which the game will be released.
While these dates may change, it gives a great indicator of the timeframe in which the game will be out. We’ve taken the most important information from the document relating to the release and development of the game. A closed Beta will apparently be playable with limited access on September 30th, 2020. While an open Beta will arrive on January 1st, 2023. The document highlights the production schedule for the game stating:
“Draft of complete-game lore and narrative” will be completed by June 1st, 2020. Perhaps we could expect to see some information revealed closer to the date.
