Moster Hunter Rise PC

Monster Hunter Rise Is landing On PC In Early 2022

Japanese studio Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will be hitting PC in the first half of 2022.

“We received a lot of requests for a PC version of Monster Hunter Rise,” series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto told IGN. “This is still under development, so I’d like to share more detailed information when the time is right.”

Monster Hunter Rise marks the debut of one of Capcom‘s most successful series’ running in their very own RE engine, with the Switch version arriving towards the end of March.

This iteration introduces of course, new and scary monsters to hunt, as well as throwing in some new traversal options, and looks to be a major gaming highlight for 2021.

Monster Hunter Receives Big Sales In The West

With this JRPG being hugely popular in Japan, it only makes sense for the western market to capitalize on that popularity. As a result, Monster Hunter World sold over 16.8 million units since its release – leading to Monster Hunter World becoming one of Capcom‘s most successful games according to their financial report. Introducing this series onto as many platforms as possible will only benefit Capcom even further.

There are currently no further details on what the PC port of Monster Hunter Rise will include, which makes sense considering the Switch version is next up on their list. You can pre-order Monster Hunter Rise here (affiliate link).
