Necromantic Strand Location In Destiny 2

Before we get into searching for the Necromantic Strand location, players must at least know the pre-requisite condition or requirements of it. For starters, Destiny 2 Shadowkeep DLC is a must-have downloadable content (DLC) required to find the Necromantic Strand location. Without this expansion installed in your console or PC, you will never be able to find the location of Necromantic Strand because it is a part of a questline in the Shadow Keep DLC.

The Lectern of Enchantment

In Destiny 2’s Shadowkeep DLC, the Lectern of Enchantment is a vendor that becomes available after completing the “Back from the Dark” questline near the Sanctuary Landing Zone. If you’re looking for the Necromantic Strand, it’s likely because you’ve triggered the Essence of Brutality Questline acquired from the Lectern of Enchantment.

Here’s how to access the Lectern of Enchantment and obtain the Essence of Brutality questline:

1. Go to the Sanctuary Landing Zone in the Shadowkeep DLC.
2. Locate the Lectern of Enchantment, which is located near Eris Morn.The Lectern of Enchantment
3. Purchase the Essence of Brutality questline from the Lectern Enchantment vendor using Phantasmal Cores.
4. To obtain Phantasmal Cores, you can exchange 20 Phantasmal Fragments each. You can acquire Phantasmal Fragments while playing through various activities in the Shadowkeep DLC.
5. Once you have the questline, you will be given specific objectives to complete, and one of them involves reaching the Necromantic Strand location.

The Essence of Brutality Questline

The Essence of Brutality is one of many quests that are offered by the Lectern of Enchantment. Like other quests it offers a Legendary Item as a reward The Loud Lullaby (A legendary Hand Cannon).

To complete this quest, you need to do is:

1. Complete 50 activities.
2. Get 50 Hand Cannon Kills.
3. Find the Necromantic Strand.

Although the first two objectives are quite straightforward and will demand you to invest more time to complete them. The third one, however, can be a bit of a problem as there are no pointers that point the Guardian in the direction of where to find the Necromantic Strand. So, unless you don’t know for sure where to look for, you will remain clueless about how to complete this objective.

Finding The Necromantic Strand

To reach the Necromantic Strand location, you can follow these steps:

1. Start near Eris Morn in the Sanctuary.
2. Head towards Archer’s Line. To get there quickly, you can fast-travel to the Sanctuary point and then proceed to the left until you reach a broken track.
3. Continue moving to the right from the broken track until you reach a domed building. Enter the building.
4. Run down the hill inside the building until you find a door in the wall. Enter this door.
5. You will now find yourself below the Moon’s surface, a bit away from the target location.
6. The Hall of Wisdom is at the very bottom of this underground area. Use your Guardian’s traversal abilities to descend further into the area.
7. In the center of the Hall of Wisdom, you will find a Hive-like object. As you approach it, a waypoint will appear on your screen, indicating something nearby.
8. Follow the waypoint, and it will lead you to the Necromantic Strand location.
