Path To Nowhere brings along more than 45 sinners for you to pick from. One of these sinners is known as Hecate. This Path To Nowhere Hecate guide is for you if you are looking to find out more about the game, especially Hecate.
Before we jump into any details, let us first talk a little about Hecate. She is an A-type sinner, who is described in the game as a sinner who is a master at the art of dealing magic damage to the opponents that she is facing.
In addition to that, another strong suit of Hecate in Path To Nowhere is that she is able to deal multiple core damage to her opponents. This is really handy in a tower-defense game like Path To Nowhere.

So, without any further ado, let us jump right into it.

Promotion is essentially the process through which you can enhance your character. It will increase not only your sinner’s level but also their base stats. Furthermore, each promotion will also unlock different abilities and passive skills for your sinner.
There are a total of three phases of promotions. Each phase unlocks different things. In each phase, you will only be able to level up your sinner up to a certain point and reach a soft level cap. To increase or break this limit, you will need to phase up. With that being said, let us now take a closer look at each of these phases, for Hecate, in detail.
Phase 1
Something that you should know about before we talk about phase 1 is that before it, you will level up Hecate to level 20 using Mania Essence and Discoins. Once you have done that, you will now be able to level up your sinner from level 20 to level 40 in the first phase of promotions.
As far as the enhancement in the base stats is concerned, the base attack is increased to 248, HP to 1547, defense to 90, and magic resistance to 93. In addition to that, Hecate’s into the night skill will unlock in the first phase, and you will also get 40 hypercubes.

Skills
In this section of our Path To Nowhere Hecate guide, we will be talking about Hecate’s skills in detail. With that being said, the first skill that we will be talking about is called “delusional.”
Delusional
Delusional is Hecate’s basic attack. In it, Hecate attacks with Nightmare’s Power and deals hits to her opponents, which will be equal to 105 percent of her base attack. The damage output, as you would have guessed by now, will be magic damage. As this skill has no energy cost, therefore Hecate can utilize it again and again against the enemy.
If we talk about the range of this skill, then it is the 9 x 9 grid in front of her and 1 tile to the right as well as 1 tile to the left. In addition to that, this skill can be leveled up to level 10. However, to do that, you will need discoins, skill modules, and raw ores.
The upgrades are given down below:
- Level 2: Damage is increased to 112 percent
- Level 3: Damage is increased to 120 percent
- Level 4: Damage is increased to 128 percent
- Level 5: Damage is increased to 136 percent

- Level 7: Damage is increased to 155 percent
- Level 8: Damage is increased to 166 percent
- Level 9: Damage is increased to 177 percent
- Level 10: Damage is increased to 189 percent
Lightless Mirror
The next skill on our Path To Nowhere Hecate guide is her ultimate skill which is known as lightless mirror. Unlike the delusional skill, the lightless mirror will have an energy cost of 30. When it is used, Hecate will unleash the power of nightmare and end up inflicting 630 percent of her base attack as magic damage on her foes.
If that were not brutal enough, Hecate would also deal 1 core damage to her opponents who have their cores exposed. The damage will be dealt to all the enemies that are within the target grid. Once you have reached phase 1, you can level up this skill. However, you will be needing discoins, skill modules, and arsenopyrite raw ores for it.
The upgrades are given below:
- Level 2: Damage is increased to 672 percent
- Level 3: Damage is increased to 714 percent
- Level 4: Damage is increased to 763 percent

- Level 9: Damage is increased to 1057 percent
- Level 10: Damage is increased to 1134 percent
Into The Night
The first passive skill that we will be talking about in our Path To Nowhere Hecate guide is “into the night.” Whenever Hecate and Nightmare deal damage to an enemy, dream will be applied to the enemy. As the number of layers of the dream increases, so does the damage dealt by Hecate and Nightmare.
You should know that there can be a maximum of 10 layers, and each layer increases the damage dealt by 1 percent. Once you have reached phase 1, you can level up this skill. It will require discoins, skill modules, and arsenopyrite raw ores.
The upgrades are given below:
- Level 2: Damage is increased to 1.1 percent
- Level 3: Damage is increased to 1.15 percent
- Level 4: Damage is increased to 1.2 percent
- Level 5: Damage is increased to 1.3 percent
- Level 6: Damage is increased to 1.4 percent
- Level 7: Damage is increased to 1.5 percent
- Level 8: Damage is increased to 1.6 percent
- Level 9: Damage is increased to 1.7 percent
- Level 10: Damage is increased to 1.8 percent
Ghastly Shadow
For starters, ghastly shadow is a passive skill that can be unlocked after you have reached phase 2 or level 40. With this passive, you and your allies will gain a 10 percent magic penetration bonus once the battle has begun.
The upgrades are given below:
- Level 2: The magic penetration bonus increases to 10.7 percent
- Level 3: The magic penetration bonus increases to 11.4 percent
- Level 4: The magic penetration bonus increases to 12.2 percent

- Level 9: The magic penetration bonus increases to 16.9 percent
- Level 10: The magic penetration bonus increases to 18 percent
Leader Skill
There will be times when you will be facing enemies whose core needs to be broken in order to advance further. That is when the leader skill of Hecate will be of use to you.
In each match, you have to choose one of your six sinners as the leader of the team. If you end up choosing Hecate as the team leader, her skill “fatal reflection” will come into play. It will basically increase the core damage that you deal with your “lightless mirror” skill by one point.
Special Ability
The last thing that we will be talking about in this section of our guide is Hecate’s special ability which is known as the forbidden nightmare. It will allow Hecate to block 2 opponents at the same time by bringing nightmare into the field. The nightmare will be able to take 120, 135, or 150 percent of Hecate’s HP, 60, 70, or 80 percent of her base attack, and 160,180, or 200 percent of her base defense.
Something that you should know is that you can only use it once per battle.
Shackles
As you progress in the game, you will unlock shackles. Simply put, shackles are upgrades or boosts to your sinner’s abilities that will help you play better. We have given below the shackles that you can unlock for Hecate:
- Bad Dream: Once you have used the lightless mirror. Using this shackle, the next time when you use the ultimate again, the damage output will be increased by a minimum of 10 percent to a maximum of 30 percent.
- Shackles Syn I: This shackle will enhance her attack by 5 percent
- Shadow In Dream: Due to this shackle, the damage taken by Hecate is decreased by 15 percent when you apply dream on the opponent.
- Emotional Resonance: This shackle reduces the ultimate energy consumption by 3 points
- Shackles Sync II: This shackle will further enhance her attack by 5 percent
