Cathedral of the Omens is an explorable area situated in the Yaesha region.
There is a puzzle present here that can be solved with the help of the three levers in the room.
Make use of the book to solve the puzzle by casting the right shadows.
Solving the puzzle gives you the Faith Seed and two chests.
The Cathedral of the Omens specifically is a temple dedicated to the Gods and higher authorities of Pan. Now that you are familiar with the area and its importance to the story, let’s take a look at how to tackle the puzzle you’ll come across here.
Once you enter the area, you will be able to spot a large device with three layers all containing different things. These layers can be manipulated and controlled with the help of levers that are placed around the room.
Firstly, we have the Lever located at the Entrance which can rotate the layer containing the triangle and the two circles. Secondly, we have the lever towards the left side of the entrance which can rotate the layer with only two circles. Thirdly, we have the lever on the right side of the entrance which can rotate the layer with the symbols.
Once players come across devices like this, it is likely that need to form some sort of pattern in order to trigger some response. That is precisely what this place requires. In order to know what patterns to form, the players would have to make their way to the library that is connected to the puzzle.
From there, pick out a book that you can interact with and you see similar shapes and symbols to those on the device.
In the puzzle room, there are two doors that are locked, both with a symbol above them. The first page of the book talks about Calamity and gives us a hint on how to open the door with the triangle. In order to open the door, you need to fulfill three things:
You need to ensure that the triangle shadow is the same as the triangle on the door.
The shadows of Death, Doe, and Ravager are covered with the shadows of the circle.
Lastly, the shadow of death is above the triangle.
In order to do all this in the right manner, first press the lever at the entrance to move the triangle shadow and make it match the one on the door. Then press the lever on the right side of the entrance which will put death on top of the triangle and the circle shadow on Doe and Ravager.
Lastly, press the lever on the left side of the room to cast a circle shadow around Death and thus open the door. Opening the Door will allow you to collect your reward in the form of a Faith Seed which can be used to craft materials.
The second door is on the right side of the puzzle room. This door will have a tilted triangle towards the left side. Once again, you are going to have to press the levers in order to mimic the same patterns in the shadows. In order to open the door u will have to fulfill the following steps:
Make the shadow triangle replicate the triangle on top of the door.
Make sure that the Sun, Moon, and Ravager have circle shadows surrounding them.
Ensure that the Ravager shadow is below the triangle.
Once you do that you will open the second door and can make your way to your rewards. The rewards you get are two chests containing loot for you to use and get stronger.
