Do you want to know if the resident evil 4 remake separate ways is included? Well, we have the answer for you.
As of right now, there is no DLC available for the Resident Evil 4 Remake, whereas the original 2005 release had a canon side campaign called “Separate Ways”, which put you in the shoes of Ada Wong and her journey throughout the game while Leon was trying to escape with Ashley. So now we get to the big question; is there a Resident Evil 4 Remake of Separate Ways equivalent in the game?
“Separate Ways” is a side campaign that follows Ada Wong through Resident Evil 4.
It is unlocked after you beat the main campaign, but this only applies to the 2005 version.
It is not included in the Resident Evil 4 Remake, although it might be coming later as DLC.
Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways was a mini-campaign in Resident Evil 4, unlocked by completing the main game.
In Separate Ways, you play Ada Wong, who is on a mission to recover a sample of the Las Plagas parasite. The gameplay is similar to that of the main game with Leon but focuses on Ada’s perspective, which means we are granted access to her unique arsenal, such as the ability to use a grappling hook, just to name one.
The story in Separate Ways takes place at the same time as the main game, where Leon is going through his journey. You also get to see how certain events played out and why they went how they did when you played Leon. It provides you extra context as to how you were able to make it through your journey as Leon.
Completing this mini-campaign unlocks new content in the main game, such as the Matilda handgun and Leon’s Raccoon City Police Department outfit, a call back to Resident Evil 2.
Is There A Resident Evil 4 Remake of Separate Ways?
As of right now, there appears to be no official release or public statement from the developers, but the existence of key story beats leads us to believe that Ada Wong is still going at her own story during the events of Resident Evil 4 Remake.
We will not spoil any for you here, but there could be potential DLC planned for the future. Hopefully, that is the case since it would hearken back to the original release and how the side story was introduced.
If you are unaware, then the Separate Ways mission (alongside Assignment: Ada, which is a non-canon side mission) was not introduced/included in the original release of the game and was found on later released copies. So it would be quite the throwback if they were to do it again in this way.
