Mission 3: Spy Academy of Sniper Elites 5 contains 19 collectibles, in this walkthrough, we will show you how and where to collect all 19 of those hidden items, workbenches, stone eagles, personal letters, and classified documents. If you have already gone through this mission and have missed some of these collectibles, no worries. Players can go back to the mission from the main menu -> campaign -> mission select and play Spy Academy mission to go back and get those items.
If you’ve already picked some and left other collectibles, here’s how to check which ones you still need, press Options-Button > Service Record > Collectibles > Select Mission. The best approach is to clear all enemies from the map first, grab what you find along the way, then collect your missing items after. Sometimes Collectibles bug out and don’t spawn, but restarting the mission fixes this.
In this mission you can expect to find the following collectibles:
- Personal Letters – 5
- Work Benches – 3
- Classified Documents – 5
- Stone Eagles – 3
- Hidden Items – 3
Let’s start with all the Personal Letters first and foremost:
Spy Academy Personal Letters
Personal Letter 1/5 – Parking Problems
In the western part of the map, where the white car with the Nazi flags is parked, opposite are a couple of benches and a bin. Personal Letter #1: Parking Problems is on top.
Personal Letter 2/5 – Fragile, Do Not Break
At the very beginning of the mission, before you reach the beach and bridge entering the main area, there’s a Nazi checkpoint. Search on top of the steel box for Personal Letter #2: Fragile, Do Not Break.
Personal Letter 3/5: Do Not Be Late
On the western side of the map, if you follow the road that wraps around a turret from the white car with Nazi flags on it, there’s a guard with a pointed hat. Scout him with your sniper or your binoculars and Karl will remark that he’s carrying some intel. Kill him and then loot his body for Personal Letter #3: Do Not Be Late.
Personal Letter 4/5: It’s Easy Money
In a tower north of the Chateau castle where a sniper enemy is stationed. Upstairs in the tower. In the room he occupies, on a box, is Personal Letter #4: Good Plan, Let’s Do It.
Personal Letter 5/5: Just Attend One!
Looted from an officer. He is at the very top of the church that’s in the east of town. Go up the staircase in the bell tower of the church, if you didn’t cause an alarm there will be just two enemies which are a sniper and this officer holding the letter. Loot him or carry his body if he can’t be looted for Personal Letter #5: Just Attend One.
That’s all of the Personal Letters, let’s move on to the Workbenches now.
Spy Academy Work Benches
Workbench 1/3: Rifle Workbench
On the castle walls in the very north of the town. There are two ways to get there. 1) Climb up the vines to the north on the castle walls, from outside the castle. 2) Shoot open the padlocked door on the castle wall east of the workbench using armor-piercing ammo. Workbench #1: Rifle Workbench will be inside.
Workbench 2/3: SMG Workbench
From the square where you enter the building for Classified Document #2: Won’t Be Attending and Classified Document #5: Armory Exposed, head under the archway beyond the statue on the eastern side, and there’s a door marked by the resistance symbol. Pick the lock, and directly opposite the entrance is Workbench #2: SMG Workbench.
Workbench 3/3: Pistol Workbench
Inside the “Waffenkammer” (weapon chamber) building. You can blow open the door using a satchel charge or you can loot the key from one of the nearby officers, once inside, Workbench #3: Pistol Workbench is opposite the entrance.
Those are all the Workbenches for The Spy Academy Mission for Sniper Elite 5, now let’s move on to the Classified Documents.
Spy Academy Classified Documents
Classified Document 1/5: Priority Package
On the island, there’s a main road that runs around the main cluster of buildings. Follow this road from the west to the center, just south of the main structures. There’s a small room you can climb through a window to get inside. Classified Document #1: Priority Package is on a shelf inside.
Classified Document 2/5: Won’t Be Attending
On the top floor of a building, in the southeast section of town. There’s another collectible in the same room, on the couch to the left you find “Classified Document 5/5: Armory Exposed.”
Classified Document 3/5: Training Scenarios
In the “Spy Master’s Office”, found upstairs. You will find Classified Document #3: Training Scenarios.
Classified Document 4/5: Resource Request
In the church on the eastern side of the map, climb the staircase to the very top, which is a Nazi sniper nest so be careful. On the table just beyond the stairs is Classified Document #4: Resource Request.
Classified Document 5/5: Armory Exposed
Just east of the bridge to the island, up a few staircases from the ground level, there’s a building you can enter, just south of the square guarded by Nazi troops. Once inside the building you can take a couple of staircases up to a well-decorated room. To the left of the entrance, on a bench, is Classified Document #5: Armoury Exposed.
Now, that we’re done with the classified documents also, let’s move on to the next part of the article, which are the Stone Eagles.
Spy Academy Collectibles: Stone Eagles
Stone Eagle 1/3
Can be shot from the start of the map in the south when looking at the castle in the distance, Stone Eagle #1 is facing outwards, towards the beach.
Stone Eagle 2/3
From the sniper nest where you find Personal Letter #4: It’s Easy Money, look to the west for a small turret just to the right of the main building on the island. Stone Eagle #2 is part of the architecture, just beneath the roof.
Stone Eagle 3/3
In the most northern part of the map, near to where you exfiltrate, there’s a sunken tower in the sea. You’ll find Stone Eagle #3 atop it.
Let’s cover the final aspect of this walkthrough which are the 3 hidden items in The Spy Academy Mission.
Spy Academy Hidden Items
Hidden Item 1/3: Kriegsmarine Playing Cards
On the western side of the island, on the upper part of the map, there’s a pub you can go inside. On the table is Hidden Item #1: Kriegsmarine Playing Cards.
Hidden Item 2/3: Ornate Compass
In the “Spy Master’s Office”, found upstairs in the safe. You can blow it open using a satchel charge or loot officers to get the code.
Hidden Item #3: Covert Ops Field Manual
In the large building to the north of the island where the Nazis are training for Operation Kraken, go downstairs and into the recreation area opposite the faux American diner. On the table is Hidden Item #3: Covert Ops Field Manual.
