What Is The Defensive Wall

As the name suggests, a defensive wall is the first line of defense against the horrors of the world, such as cannibals. Having one around your shelter is of the utmost importance.

You should know that the defensive wall does not guarantee that all your enemies will stay out. However, it buys you enough time to devise or execute your plan B.

How To Build The Defensive Wall

As I mentioned, building the defensive wall is not challenging, but you will need to invest a lot of time and resources. 

Even though collecting logs may seem pretty easy, as it only requires you to cut down trees and then add the logs to your inventory, it is still a challenging task because you will need a lot of logs to make a wall around your shelter.

I suggest you ask for Kelvin’s help collecting logs, as it will make your task of building the wall comparatively easier. Moreover, there is no specific plan you need to follow when building the defensive wall. That means that you have a free hand at it.

1. The first thing you need to do is take out a log from your inventory and rotate it around to hold it vertically.
2. Once you have done that, look towards the ground, and you will eventually see a white circle.
3. That will be your cue to place the log on the ground.
4. Keep repeating the same process until you have secured your shelter.

That was pretty easy, right? However, to make sure that your wall is as good as it can be, there are some tips that you need to keep in mind.

• First, you should make your wall at least two logs thick.
• This will ensure that the wall does not fail against the cannibals who are charging at it.
• You can make the wall as thick as you want, but a wall that is two logs thick should be sufficient.
• In addition, you should also make the top of your wall pointy, as it will ensure that the cannibals cannot climb over it.
• If you want to make your job of making easier, you should make your base in a dense forest. This way, logs will be readily available to you.

My Recommendations For Defensive Wall

I would also recommend building a gate for your wall to enhance defenses further. 

The first thing you need to do is ensure you have a log in your inventory. If you do not, acquire one. In addition to that, bear in mind that the defensive wall gate will occupy 5 logs of your wall. Once you have the log, go up to the wall, and you will see a white dotted line across some of the logs.
