Why did I Choose Victus XMR?

The Victus XMR is highly effective due to its one-shot great damage in long-range maps. By equipping the perfect attachments for the Victus XMR loadout, you can dominate your enemy quickly.

If you want to hit a sharp headshot then you can use the Victus XMR class build with perk packages and equipment as explained below:

  • Perk Package: Weapon Specialist / Recon
  • Secondary: 50 GS
  • Tactical: Spotter Scope / Decoy Grenade
  • Lethal: Claymore / Throwing Knife

Perk Package

Recon Perk Package

Let us first discuss the Perk Package-Recon. You will be able to access this perk package by reaching level 1. The recon perk package is highly recommended, which has the following perks:

  • Double Time
  • Tracker
  • Focus
  • Birdseye

I will discuss each of these perks accordingly.

Double Time

The Double Time perk is the first perk in the Recon Perk Package, and it offers significant advantages. It enhances your sprint speed to an impressive level, allowing you to quickly close the gap with your enemies. Additionally, it increases your crouch movement speed when in the prone position, making it harder for enemies to aim at you.

This perk effectively doubles your sprint speed, providing an extraordinary boost to your mobility. It pairs well with the XRK Rise 50 stock attachment, which is recommended for the Victus XMR best loadout. The stock further increases sprint and crouch speed, complementing the benefits of the Double Time perk.

The Tracker perk, part of the Recon Perk Package, offers a valuable advantage in the Victus XMR class build in Call of Duty Battle Royale Warzone 2. Here’s why it’s a crucial choice:

  • Enemy Footstep Tracking: The Tracker perk provides the ability to track and follow the footsteps of your enemies. This information is immensely useful for locating and ambushing opponents in their hidden positions.
  • Stealthy Eliminations: A significant advantage of the Tracker perk is that it doesn’t reveal a kill marker on the map for enemies you eliminate. This allows you to remain hidden and avoid disclosing your location to other nearby opponents.
  • Synergy with Suppressor: When combined with a suppressor on your weapon, the Tracker perk becomes even more powerful. A suppressor muffles your gun’s sound, making it harder for enemies to detect your presence. This combination turns you into a stealthy ghost on the battlefield, enhancing your overall strategy.

It is a part of the Recon Perk Package, and offers several advantages:

  • Breath Control: Focus provides additional control over holding your breath while aiming down sights, effectively helping you manage vertical recoil. This enhanced control allows you to maintain a steady aim on your target and increase your accuracy.
  • Reduced Flinching: Using this perk also reduces the flinching effect when taking damage. This reduction in flinching is highly beneficial in maintaining your accuracy and composure during firefights.
  • Synergy with Corvus Responder Guard: It works well in conjunction with the Corvus Responder Guard, as both focus on improving your aim and stability. Combining these elements can further enhance your aiming precision and overall performance.

Last but not least perk in the Recon perk package is the Birdseye perk. Birdseye offers a direction of enemy facing when you spot them on your radar using the general radar pings. This can also be done by using the UAV. The main reason to select this perk is that it will keep you updated about the enemy locations and will provide you with extra cover from behind.

Birdseye is not so much important in this perk package as it provides a little advantage, which is not my concern. You can go for the tactical and lethal grenades along with this perk. I will guide you about the lethal grenades shortly.

Moreover, the best attachments for Victus XMR are crucial for the Best Class Build of Victus XMR.  To best use this sniper rifle, you must put on the best attachments and use the best perks packages and equipment.

I have explained the best attachments of the Victus XMR in a separate comprehensive guide, “The Best Victus XMR Loadout.” Furthermore, the best packages will improve the efficiency of Victus XMR with the best suitable attachments.

Weapon Specialist

The next perk package is the weapon specialist perk package. You can unlock this perk by reaching level 1. This perk package provides the following perks:

  • Overkill
  • Strong Arm
  • Spotter
  • Survivor

Let us discuss each of these perks briefly.

The first perk in this perk package is Overkill. This is the basic perk provided by the weapon specialist perk. By using this perk, you can choose your primary weapon as a secondary weapon and can make changes accordingly. This is the highest advantage of this perk that you can use your primary weapon as a secondary weapon, which is a huge advantage for the sniper rifle class.

Strong Arm

The second perk in this perk package is the Strong Arm. The basic purpose for choosing this perk is that it will allow you to throw your equipment with a greater force at a greater distance.

The Strong Arm helps you throw your tactical and lethal grenades farther than the normal range. This will be an addition to your Weapon Specialist perk package.

The Spotter perk, the third perk in the Weapon Specialist perk package, is the standout feature of this package in Call of Duty Battle Royale Warzone 2. Here’s why it’s highly regarded:

  • Spotting Enemy Equipment:
    • The Spotter perk grants you the ability to see enemy equipment without revealing your presence.
    • This is a significant advantage, as it allows you to make informed decisions about engaging with the enemy based on their equipment.
  • Wall Hacking Capability:
    • With Spotter, you can spot enemies through walls, essentially acting as a form of wall hacking.
    • This lets you assess enemy equipment without physically moving around the field.
  • Equipment Hacking:
    • Additionally, the Spotter perk enables you to hack certain enemy equipment.
    • This offers a substantial advantage on the battlefield by neutralizing or taking control of enemy resources.

The final perk in the Weapon Specialist perk package is Survivor. This perk can be a game-changer as it offers the following advantage:

  • Self-Revival:
    • Survivor provides you with the opportunity for a last chance at survival.
    • It grants the ability to self-revive once during gameplay, allowing you to come back into the battle stronger.

Secondary: 50 GS

The 50 GS is an excellent choice for your secondary weapon, especially when paired with the Victus XMR for close-range engagements. Here’s why the 50 GS stands out:

  • Unlocking at Level 13: You can unlock the 50 GS as your secondary weapon by reaching level 13.
  • Close and Middle-Range Support: The 50 GS complements the Victus XMR effectively in close and middle-range combat situations.
  • High Damage and Fire Rate: This handgun offers significant firepower, being able to eliminate enemies with just two shots. It boasts the highest fire rate among secondary weapons, making it a formidable choice.
  • Effective Damage Range: The 50 GS’s damage output is notably strong, and it excels as you close the gap between you and your enemy.
  • Headshot Lethality: A well-placed headshot with the 50 GS can instantly take down an opponent.
  • Ammunition Capacity: It has 7 rounds in the magazine and 14 in reserve, using the potent 0.50 Pistol Overpressured ammunition, which is deadly in close-range engagements.50 GS in Warzone 250 GS in Warzone 2 Lobby

While there’s also the option of the X13 Auto Gun, the 50 GS stands out as the superior choice for close-range combat due to its impressive damage and fire rate. It’s a reliable secondary weapon to accompany the Victus XMR in your loadout.

Next comes the tactical category. You can go for the spotter scope or the decoy grenade according to your taste. The spotter scope will be available to you at level 1. To unlock the decoy grenade, you need to reach level 19.

If you want to go in a normal style, you can choose the spotter scope is helpful while competing with the enemy at a distance. It will allow you to zoom the image or view it with a greater resolution. Therefore, a good tactic to be used.

If you want a special tactical, the decoy grenade is the best choice. The Decoy grenade is the best choice for tactical equipment as it can stimulate a radar signal and can also stimulate gunfire, which can confuse the enemy.

Decoy Gernade

You can still use the customary grenades in tactical equipment like stun grenades, flash grenades, and frag grenades as well. It is completely up to you what type of loadout you want, you can make your perk package accordingly.

Throwing KnifeThrowing Knife

In the perk package and equipment selection, you have the flexibility to choose your lethal and tactical equipment based on your preferred style of gameplay. Here are the options available:

  • Lethal Equipment:
    • Claymore: Unlocked at level 25, the Claymore leads to explosive gameplay and can quickly eliminate enemies in close quarters. It’s effective when used strategically.
    • Throwing Knife: Unlocked at level 44, the Throwing Knife is a deadly lethal option that can take down enemies at a distance. It requires precision but can be very rewarding.
  • Tactical Equipment:
    • Heartbeat Sensor: This tactical equipment helps you detect the presence of hidden enemies by revealing their locations. It can be a valuable tool for gaining situational awareness.
    • Proximity Mine: Similar to the Heartbeat Sensor, the Proximity Mine can be used to uncover enemy positions and disrupt their movements.

  • One Shot Massive Damage.
  • Access to Perk on Level 1.
  • Fast Playthrough.

  • Some Equipment demands Level progression.

My Thoughts On Victus XMR Build

As said earlier, the world of Warzone 2 is fast and you need to make a quick decision with the right set of loadouts for success. This is where my Victus XMR build shines by offering the right tactical equipment to deal with one-shot damage in the heat of battle. In the end, I recommend players also experiment with other options available as this was purely based on my playthrough.

You might want to test different equipment first to understand whatever fits best for your situation and playthrough needs. Apart from that, if you have any queries, drop them in the comments section below, and I will try to answer them for you.
